May 29th 2nd Annual Mother-Daughter "schools-almost-out" Manicure Party

For the second year, we hosted a "schools-almost-out" mother-daughter manicure party.  The uniform dress code doesn't apply for the last week and a half of school, so it was an ideal time to let the girls paint their nails!

Austin graduates from Kindergarten!

My youngest, my baby, graduated from kindergarten on May 29th.  He had such a wonderful year, and learned and grew so much. I am so proud of you Austin!

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day, the kids (along with their scout troop) planted flags at veteran's grave sites and marched in the Memorial  Day parade in downtown Libertyville. 

May 22 - mother-daughter Anne of Green Gables night

We hosted a mother-daughter Anne of Green Gables movie night. It is one of my favorite movies and am so thrilled to share it with my daughter and a few friends!

Matilda Showcase

Caroline took a mini musical-theatre class and got to perform a few scenes and songs from Matilda. She did a great job and we were so proud of her!

Awana Awards Night

 The kids participated in our first Awana this school year.  They read through their Awana books, memorized Bible verses, played some awesome games, and learned more about biblical principles.  I was very proud of them for going through it.
