Grandma Phyllis took the girls (Caroline and cousins Sarah and Alyssa) to the Children's museum. They had a blast! They got to paint thier faces... play at the music displays... go shopping in the kid-sized grocery store (a HUGE hit!)... and dance on stage, while watching themselves on TV!
Clayton had his first high fever yesterday and it was the most miserable I have ever seen him. He cried and cried for most of the day and wanted only to be held and cuddled by mama with his pacifier and his monkey. I felt SO badly for him! He's better today, but still definitely not himself. :(
Our neighbors invited us over for an Olympics party (the day before Clayton's Olympics birthday party!) Here are some pics...
And speaking of the Olympics, Caroline was playing in her Cozy Coupe car outside the other day and told me "Mama, I'm driving to a country called China." When I told her about the Olympics, I guess she was paying attention!
My "baby" boy on his first birthday! He was too tired to eat his cupcake. He flipped it right over, frosting side down and proceeded to start wailing. So much for that first birthday, cake-in-the-face photo op!
Yes, tomorrow is the start of the Olympic Games (which we are very excited for, by the way!) But mmore importantly (for our family), Clayton Matthew turns ONE! I can't believe my little baby is turning ONE! It's hard to believe that a year has passed since these pictures were taken!
