If I leave a mug on the counter, he will grab a kitchen chair, drag it over, climb up and help himself. (It's happened several times. I'll hear the scccrrraaapppe of the chair, and then I'll catch him with a big grin and a coffee mustache. )
Time will tell if he is into the heavy stuff. My coffee is about as girled up as you can get, so for now, he's used to sips of basically coffeemate with a splash of coffee!
This is what happens when I take the mug away. He tries to scale the cabinet to get to the mug.
This is followed by lots of tears and screams for "COOOFFFFEEEEEE!!!!!!"
