We started the day with Jack-O-Lantern waffles. (I leave the house to take the kids to school at 7:15, so this was the perfect "quick" breakfast.
We carved our Jack-O-Lanterns (a few days earlier).
When I say "we", I mean I did 99.8%, and the kids did 0.2%
Austin had his preschool costume parade. I have to say, I'm not a huge fan of those muscley-super hero costumes. I think my little pirate looks much cuter! (I am biased though...)
Our neighbors graciously invited the neighborhood kids to a Halloween pre-trick-or-treating dinner party. Punch with a frozen hand, mummy finger hot dogs, jack-o-lantern oranges, teeth apple slices, pumpkin barfing guacamole and other cool food items filled the tables. Thank you Sullivans!
My purple fairy and my two Jake the Neverland Pirates were then ready to trick-or-treat!
