We trick-or-treated in downtown Libertyville right after school, hoping it would be a bit warmer in the daytime. Unfortunately, it was still FREEZING. No getting around wearing winter jackets this year :(
Our neighbors very kindly hosted us for "pre trick-or-treat" and "post-trick-or-treat" festivities. I think the kids enjoyed that more than the candy collecting because it was so darn cold!
Austin's Halloween Party at School
A few weeks before Halloween, we went on the Ryerson Woods hike. It was a beautiful night for a hike and the park district employees did a great job with all of their mini skits along the way.
