Valentine's Day and Field Museum outing

A snowy valentine's day in Libertyville...

 February 15th -I took the kids to the Field Museum on one of its free days.

There was so much to see and all for free... (unlike the Shedd. The "free" day ended up costing over $70 and that was without even seeing a show!)

The kids learned a lot about different animal species and cultures. 

We saw the T-Rex skeleton...

and the different rocks and minerals - which the kids could identify a lot more thanks to Minecraf;t!
