Sleepover at the EAA Air Museum
With the cub scouts, we got to have a sleepover at the EAA Air Museum in Osh Kosh.
The kids learned about how/why airplanes fly, then built their own paper airplanes.
They then tested their planes for distance, accuracy, and length of flight.
There were air simulators and other interactive exhibits.
Then they got to practice taking off, flying, and landing a plane on the computer simulators. It was way harder than it looks!
