Several weeks ago, my brother Taylor had a terrible scare on the golf course. He collapsed and his heart stopped. Thankfully, the paramedics were able to revive him and after tons of tests, he had a defibrillator put in and has made an astonishing recovery. We love Taylor dearly and are so thankful that everything ended the way that it did. While he was in the hospital, I got to take care of my niece and nephew, Makenna and Kellan. We had fun playing in the baby pool, getting balloons, grocery shopping, making forts, etc. We even got to see firetrucks and ambulances line the street (minor gas leak in their house).
The boys had a mini sports camp this summer where they practiced their baseball, basketball, and soccer.
Caroline and Clayton got to "camp" in a tent. (Yes, the tent was in her bedroom, but it's a start!)
