Thanksgiving at BB and Papa's house!

We had a fantastic time at BB and Papa's house for Thanksgiving. The food was, of course, delicious and we really enjoyed the company of my parents, Taylor, Meredith, Dan, Kellan, and GiGi!

Leading up to Thanksgiving

The kids had their Thanksgiving Feast at preschool.

The kids made candy corn turkeys.
They enjoyed dressing up as pilgrims and indians and learning all about the history of Thanksgiving.
Well, two out of the three did...
But we finally won him over.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Kellan!

My sweet, adorable nephew Kellan just turned ONE! Happy Birthday Kellan! We are SO happy that we get to visit with you over your birthday week!

Dinner with the Fowles family

On Saturday we got to have dinner with our friends, the Fowles family - Andy, Michele, Graclyn, Jack, Addy, Ryan, and Eric. We all loved eating pizza and making "pizza cookies".
Gracie directed all the kids in their cheerleading/dance/gymnastics show.

Operation Christmas Child

Caroline and Clayton chose a 3 year old boy and a 4 year old girl to sponsor for Operation Christmas Child. They had fun picking out all the gifts/care items for their kids. Here they are packing their packages for them!

Dinner with our God family!

We had the Cordovas, our God family, over for dinner last weekend. It was SO good to see them and spend quality time together. We love you Erica, Rick, Sofia, and Eva!

Halloween!

We did lots of fun things for Halloween this year.

Trick or Treating around our neighborhood...

We carved Jack-O-Lanterns...

We turned 2 big cardboard boxes we found on the side of the road into a "haunted" house...

We had halloween parties at preschool...

We made spiders out of oreos and pretzels to give to all the preschool classmates...
and trick or treated at all the shops in downtown Libertyville.

It was a GREAT halloween!
