Great Wolf Lodge

We took a mini family vacation to Great Wolf Lodge waterpark in the Wisconsin Dells.
We all had a really great time. It was so much fun to see how much everyone loved all the water slides - especially Kevin, Caroline, and Clayton! They LOVED every minute!

The hotel room had a mini kids cabin with bunk beds and their own TV. What an AWESOME concept for families! We each had our own space and Kevin and I didn't have to go to sleep at the same time as the kids!

 

All three passed out on the car ride home. They were exhausted!  Surely a sign of a good trip!

Mother's Day

I had a fantastic Mother's day this year.  In fact, it turned into a whole mother's week!  I got to go to a Lake Forest Showhouse with my mom and sister. It was a beautiful mansion right on Lake Michigan with its own private beach.  It was, to say the least, stunning!  Then I got to attend the Winnetka Rummage sale the next morning (a personal favorite of mine!) 
On Saturday, my friend Annette and I took our daughters to see Alice in WOnderland at the Lincolnshire Marriott.  Such fun!

 

On Sunday morning, the kids surprised me with presents, cards and a mother's day poster.

Sunday night, Kevin treated us to Mother's Day dinner at The Grille in Lake Forest.

And here is a throwback to my mom as a young mom.  Happy Mother's Day Mom! 

 

 

 

TRUCKS!

They have been tearing up and doing work on our street for weeks and weeks. They boys have had a BLAST seeing all of the different construction trucks doing their specific jobs.

They even got out their own construction vehicles to mimic what they saw. Boys, trucks, and dirt. What could be better?

Sofia and Eva turn six!

My God daughters Sofia and Eva turned six a few weeks ago! I can't believe how big they've gotten!
We had a great time celebrating with them at Pump-it-Up and at a family party at their house.
Happy Birthday girls!

Sarah turns ten

We celebrated my niece Sarah's tenth birthday a few weekends ago. I can't believe she is TEN!
