Baby Wells Brennan Mazur

My sister Meredith welcomed baby #3, Wells Brennan Mazur into the world on October 19th.
He is the tiniest little thing and has the sweetest features.  I'm in love!

Halloween Spooky Playhouse #2

As luck would have it, a neighbor bought a new washing machine a few weeks ago. It just happened to be delivered when I was outside, so I was able to take the box for a halloween spooky house.
I resisted the urge to make it Martha Stewart cute and let the kids decorate it. Each child got to decorate a side. Even the neighbor kids came over and helped out.

Stades Farm

Per tradition, we went up to Stades farm market for pumpkin picking from their pumpkin patch and their autumn harvest festival. As always, the kids had a blast!

Firehouse Open house

Kevin took the kids to an open house at the Libertyville fire house last weekend and they got to do a lot of cool stuff.  They got to use a firemans's hose and/or fire extinguisher to actually put out a real fire. Fall Leaves Project

We did a fall leaves project where the kids collected colored leaves, glued a tree trunk and branches (that I cut out from brown construction paper) onto a blue piece of construction paper and then glued the leaves on.  They had fun doing it and we used materials we already had around the house!
