Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and Lincoln Park Zoo

I took the kids to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum for the first time this August. 

Their live butterfly room is SO cool, and luckily, none of the kids freaked out! (A previous visit to a butterfly garden when they were younger was not a success.)

In addition to the butterflies, there were exhibits on rivers and how they work, eco-friendly houses, energy consumption, and germs. They played AND learned! 

We also stopped by Lincoln Park Zoo for a little animal-watching. 

 I also introduced them to "Wishbone" for lunch. YUM! They loved it!
