We started our Independence Day celebration on July 3rd with the carnival games and fireworks at Gillson Park. We joined my good high school friend, Erica, and her family, and a few other friends.
After a very fun, but very late night (and a long walk and drive home from Wilmette!), we rallied and made it to the Lake Bluff parade.
That afternoon, we met my parents and siblings and their families at Westmoreland for their Fourth of July Barbeque and fireworks.
