July 14th - Camping at Harrington Beach, first baseball game - Kane County Cougars

We went back to our favorite camping site - Harrington Beach, W-4.

It was a nice warm day so we took advantage of the beautiful beach.

The next day, we did our hike around quarry lake.

It was pretty cold on our hike, so we decided to find a restaurant on our way home for lunch and a warm up.  We found the cutest little town a few miles south, Port Washington, Wisconsin and found a great lunch spot - The Daily Baking Company .  Such amazing fresh breads!

After a quick unpacking session and clean up at home, we loaded back up to make the Kane County Cougars Game with the Cub Scouts, the kids first baseball game!

We got seats super close to the field, and the end of the game featured a fireworks display. It was a hit!

After a long day, the kids passed out on the way home!
