Clayton turns 6

I can't believe my little boy is six years old!
To Clayton Matthew - You are creative and inventive beyond compare. The eyes in which you see things are so unique and it is both joyful and maddening to witness.  You have such a lovable heart and can be so charming. On the other hand, you can make my blood come to a boil quicker than any other! I love you dearly and am so happy to be your mama.  Happy 6th Birthday!

For Clayton's birthday, we kept with the "blue man group" theme and had a family dinner, as well as a "father-son" birthday party for a few boys and their dads.
We did a "throw the marshmallow at your dad/son and try to catch it in your mouth" contest, as they do in the Blue Man Group show.
The boys also tried throwing them in a wooden blue man.

 We did an egg toss...
 a water-bucket filling relay...
a "find the gummy eyeball in the whipcream using only your mouth" contest...
and a building with mini marshmallows and toothpicks contest.

 The boys and their dads

The family then came over for dinner and a few games.

The cousins and their whipped cream-eating/find the gummy worm contest...
 trying on pretty pink shoes...

Since we celebrated his birthday a week early, we went to The Silo for his actual birthday.
