We love our apple-picking tradition at Oriole Springs and happily picked at the end of September this year. The only downside was that for the first time since we started picking 10 years ago, the cheese/doughnut shop down the road at Harvest Time was closed. We were able to score some tasty doughnuts in Twin Lakes at a local bakery, so the trip still felt complete. We came home with a bounty of delicious golden delicious apples. Yum!
On the way home, we found a new dinner spot - Fire Pitt in Trevor, WI for pizza. They have a kids night on Thursdays with a magician, balloon man, etc. We might have to come back for that!
